NDI Moves to Milwaukee (For a Day)

August 3, 2010 at 5:43 PM

This year for our annual NDI Team-Building Retreat and Summer Fun Day we hit the road and headed to Milwaukee.

Our Strategy meeting took place in our traveling conference van featuring free-flowing creative ideas paired with breakfast by McDonalds. The highlight of the day was a visit to the Milwaukee Art Museum where we found both group and individual inspiration, not the least of which was the legendary architecture.

We continued our round table discussions at the historic Mader's Restaurant, dining on German cuisine and surrounded by art, suits of armor and antiques dating back to the 14th century. We worked off some of those schnitzel and spaetzel calories with an afternoon bike ride along Milwaukee's lakefront.

The ride back to Evanston featured a sing-along of tunes that nobody knew all the words to and some classic TV show theme songs. We were back in our Evanston office the next day refreshed with new strategies and plans to improve our workflow and ultimately our clients' satisfaction.
