July 26, 2016 at 12:00 AM
This summer, NeigerDesign is home to two new interns. They've been hard at work contributing to the design and marketing aspects of NeigerDesign. Here's a little bit about our temporary team members including information on their contributions to the team as well as a few of their favorite things.
Position:
Our design intern Whitney Colley is originally from Toronto, Canada. She studied graphic design at OCAD University and brings a passion for experimental typography and contemporary art as well as over ten years of customer service experience. She was intrigued by NeigerDesign's Studio//Shift and the encouragement of creativity in and outside the workplace. She is focused on adding a unique perspective to the company's brand and using her creative talents to add inspired thinking into NeigerDesign's work.
Inspiration:
I am typically inspired by those who have a zest for life and who aren't afraid to take risks. My personal practice as a multi-media artist is important to me and I am always keeping my eyes and ears open for inspiration.
Philosophy:
"The medium is the message" -Marshall McLuhan
Position:
Our marketing intern Hayley St. Germain is bringing her fresh perspective and knowledge to NeigerDesign for the summer. Originally from a small town in Massachusetts, she studies marketing and graphic design at DePaul University in Chicago. She was drawn in by the creative and cooperative feel of NeigerDesign and this has made her love what she does. She focuses on internal marketing and utilizing social media and content creation to attract attention to the company.
Inspiration:
Everyday I'm inspired by nature and the world around me. Professionally, I feel inspired by my coworkers and fellow students who are doing what they love to do.
Philosophy:
Be true to yourself and happiness will come.
