Inspired and Thirsty Just in Time for Oktoberfest

A Few of the Best Beer Label Designs to Get Us Excited About the Season

With October started and the crispness of Autumn in the air, we can't help but get excited about all our favorite things of the season. Sweaters, apple cider, colorful leaves and soon enough Halloween (which we take very seriously here at NeigerDesign). But before we pull out the pumpkins for our annual design contest, we would like to take this moment to pay homage to another great celebration: Oktoberfest.

Oktoberfest, held every year in Munich, originally began as horse races following a royal wedding that must have been quite the party. Of course, like all epic parties that have continued and expanded over a couple of centuries, the drink of choice (beer, naturally) became a very important part of the festivities and the tradition of celebrating with the delicious Oktoberfest brews expanded abroad. In America, Oktoberfest is synonymous with the full-bodied, rich flavored style of beer that originated with the festival.

As a way of saying "prost!" to this tradition, here are some of our favorite beer label designs from breweries who keep us in festive spirits all year long, with a couple of special edition brews that we wish were in wide circulation (and can we sign a petition somewhere to make it happen?).
