In the humdrum of the weekly work routine, it's understandable to feel stuck sometimes. As designers and creative strategists at NeigerDesign, it's crucial that we get the creativity flowing again whenever this happens�and with the pace of agency life, it needs to happen fast. We know that we're not alone in this, though. No matter your industry or your role, a spark of fun and a little bit of novelty can go a long way towards shaking things up and inspiring new ideas or renewing motivation.
To help with this earlier in the year, we invited clients to embark on a VR adventure as a clever way to escape the harsh Chicago winter (although it works as a beneficial break any time of year!).
We sent personalized packages welcoming our clients to the "Escape Artists VR Club," complete with a VR viewer and a retro-inspired instructional booklet. A landing page guided new explorers to four distinctive 360-degree videos that correspond to themes of exploration, thrill-seeking, or relaxation.
Our goal was to help others to "see beyond the everyday," wherever you are. We also aimed to go a step beyond a typical client gift�integrating a digital component with the premise of taking a break and refreshing while still reflecting the quirky personality of our agency�and hopefully creating a memorable surprise for our closest contacts.
